Despite their best efforts, ODU found it tough to gain any substantial advantage against the late-season speed that Temple had clearly harnessed. But let’s not get too down just yet!

A Strong Comeback in the 1V4+ Race

1V4+ race. Here, ODU showcased their skills, leading from the very beginning and maintaining their dominance against Temple. It was a delightful sight for fans as the boat glided confidently across the water, leaving their competition trailing.

The 2V4+ and 3V4+ Face Challenges, But Show Grit

2V4+ and 3V4+ boats took to the water against Temple’s 2V4+. This face-off resulted in one of the closest races of the day, truly a nail-biter for spectators. As the day progressed, conditions on the river significantly worsened, with waves and chop becoming more prominent, testing the mettle and skill of each crew.

2V4+ boat made a noticeable surge in the second half of their race, showcasing their strategy and athletic prowess. Meanwhile, the 3V4+ boat made their move in the final 250 meters, gaining open water and turning heads with their impressive finish.
